Toni Marsh, Program Director Helps Tanzania University Launch Paralegal Studies Program

February 9, 2012

Professor Toni Marsh is the architect of GW’s paralegal studies master’s program, one of only a few such programs in the country. But this isn’t the only country she’s affecting. She went to Tanzania for a constitutional reform project and trained 40 lawyers as paralegal trainers.

The University of Bagamoyo contacted Professor Marsh requesting her expertise and assistance in building a curriculum to teach paralegal teachers at the new University of Bagamoyo. The University is dedicated to good governance, the rule of law, and economic progress, and offers programs in law, applied science, safety and security leadership, and now in paralegal studies.
